Thank you for allowing [daughter] to call me this morning.  I do have one request, as of late she has taken to just hanging up the telephone when you tell her we are done; without saying goodbye. This is upsetting to me and I find the act itself to be rude and disrespectfuX.. at six years old I would assume you have taught our daughter the most fundamental telephone etiquette in saying at the very least “Good Bye.”
My fear is that she has witnessed your behavior of just hanging up on me and is following in your footsteps.  I would greatly appreciate your assistance in working with [daughter] and her telephone manners - letting her know that it is simply good manners to say “Goodbye.”—I do not believe this rudeness should be tolerated nor condoned; especially since her manners are wonderful in other areas of her life...
