[The Ex], this is [Step Mother].

I was talking to [daughter] this morning and she stated that she misses you, which of course is very normal.  She also said that she is forgetting what you look like and is worried she will not recognize you this summer.

I asked her what would make it a little better until she sees you in August.  I suggested [webcam software] to her so that she can see your face and she asked if she can also have a picture of you.  I think you really ought to find a way to [webcam software] with [daughter] ASAP.  She really only wants to see your face and that would make her just that much more comfortable.  I’m not sure what your situation is and why you have been unavailable to [webcam software] but there are many, many free wifi spots in the [town in other state] area.  If it is timing, I know [Custodial Dad] is more than willing to accommodate you on a schedule that would be able to include [webcam software] at the very least of once per week.  If [webcam software] is the issue, I am sure I can locate another compatible program but we really need to make this work for [daughter].

I think [Custodial Dad] mention this to you before, I know that I asked him to but I would also like if you would send a picture of yourself up here... whether digital or printed picture so that she can have a picture of you in her room.  I looked through the very few older pictures that [Custodial Dad] has and there are no pictures of you amongst them.  [daughter] has seen that [sibling] has many, many pictures in his room of his father and his father’s family and she would like to have the opportunity to display pictures as well.  She said you have boxes of pictures and if you send just one, I am sure she’ll be very happy with it.  I did offer to her to either take a picture of the two of you in August or have [Custodial Dad] do so if I’m not at the exchange.  We could make a tradition out of it, allowing [daughter] to have a current picture of you every time she goes or comes from vacation with you.  However, in the mean time, she would like if you could send a picture up.  She suggested that since you are sending her stickers, that you can put a photo in the next mailing of stickers since that would not “cost extra.”

I promised [daughter] I would email you myself to ensure that we are able to at least fulfill at least one of her wishes in seeing you at least on film or on camera this week.  She is very excited at the idea of a webcam chat.  Let me know what I can do to get [daughter] and you on webcam this week.

      Thank you for finally getting back to me.

      [daughter] has pictures of her friends but none of you. There was one email that was retained by our virus software as it was an executable or zip file. 

      If there was a picture in that email, please send it again as a jpg or gif file.

Is there anyway you can [webcam software] with [daughter].  She has been asking pretty consistently.
