What is the response about [daughter]’s foot sore?
You are not addressing this, [Custodial Dad]?

Why did it take FOUR weeks to heal?
What are your observartions/ decisions?

I need an answer, as it has been a concern since she got here from your care.

[Custodial Dad] and [spelled incorrectly Step Mother]:
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE: AUTHORIZE and TAKE [daughter] for a FULL Nutrition evaluation.
[daughter] left me in [other state] on August 15th with a sore on her left ankle.
The area was ALREADY ITCHY NAD RED WHEN she arrived here in [other state].
I monitored the area and found that it was slow to heal- as it was a crater -like sore by August 15th, 2010.
I have on record what [daughter] reported about the sore.
What is your view of the status of the sore?
Please have her get on [webcam software] to show me.  Let’s schedule.

Why don’t you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE allow [daughter] to have a nutrition evaluation by her pediatrician.  Nutrition is NOT something that you can “ensure.”  There is a way that doctors and nurses help to determine the child’s clinical status.  Your opinion as a parent is ONLY one part of her intake for a nutrition evaluation.  We can have labs done- and medicine can be applied so [daughter] does NOT feel needle stick.  We can have the staff review her diet from her recollection or her documentation of what she eats- called a food diary.
[daughter] can write and she can read.
She can do the work.  She is VERY accurate and detailed.
Her acocunt would be reliable, though she is Age 8.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE: AUTHORIZE and TAKE [daughter] for a FULL Nutrition evaluation.
These two points are coupled in this email as I see the wound healing issue as an indicator of possible protein and vitamin deficiency in [daughter]’s nutrition.  She NEVER healed slowly before.  Why is she healing SO slowly now?  Let’s start somewhere to find out why.
As your records will show, this is one of many requests sent to you on this topic.
